the NA bumpers are longer so they can pass the 5-mph bumper crash test... thus making the car look long nosed... and not as round and refined as the JDMs

For Honda's you don't have to change the bumper just need to take out 5 mph impact foam.

I compared it against cars that I have originally in my list and found it to be the car that i've overlooked. The car turned out to be much cheaper and much more potent than what I though before looking into the car. That was a good suggestion.
The car can look exotic but it's not quite my style to put any cosmatic mod on. A good set of coilovers is probably going on the car first, then some pipes + a better fuel map.

With TURBO's you need to tune or else you'll run into boost creep.

You can try the bilstein shocks developed specifically for subaru.

never had a problem with boost creep on my z32 even without the cats... never heard any legacy guys complain about boost creep either. I plan to quit being an air polluting bustard and leave the main cat along so it shouldn't be a problem.

The old 2.0L WRX had 3 cat and when people mod it they tend to run into boost creep problem. Since you aren't taking cat off I think you'll be okay.
