if people say u r selfish,that means maybe they really think you are selfish or they don't feel you treat them as good as they treat u~

I can understand how you feel. My gf went back to HK one year ago. She said she will be back in few years. I sometimes wonder if the long distance relationship will work or not but you know it's hard to find someone with so much in common and so fit together. I guess time will tell.

I have a female friend here..she has a bf for almost 4 years....but in Aug...her bf will go back TW....and won't come back..at least these years.....when she knew this thing...she starts looking for a new bf..now she found out a new bf......and she told me that everyone in this world is selfish...she do not want to be alone...she needs to have someone to stay with.....I have no comment about this...coz she is one of my best friend....but I really do not agree that...even I do not believe LD love either..

Being selfish is pretty much like treating yourself better, doesn't really mind what other people say, because you know that you're living well, you're treating yourself nice.

On the other hand, being very unselfish, that means at the end you will be the one who is taking all the hits, it just depend on if you can take it or not, because often you have to take those hits alone.

I've tried to be the most unselfish person that I could be, but it ended up that I took everything down on myself.
