#21 | | | kittymagic, may i ask wt is u're definition of true love?
I believe there is true love. But I don't believe true love canover come any obstacles. I believe true love can only overcome any obstacles if the couples are to live in a closed world where nothing exists except the couple. They don't have to face the cruel reality in our world such as surviving.
In our world, we have a make a living, we have to be judged, we have parents, we each have our own hobbies etc etc etc etc etc...........
All those influence "love" And it is just a cruel reality that sometimes we have to give something/someone we love in order to achieve something greater OR surviving.
If somebody is given a choice on; 1) give up your loved one, and you will survive 2) stay with your loved one, and you will die from proverty
I'm pretty certain most people will choose 1).
I personally think all of us are still young, and all we think about is how romantic true love can over come any obstacles like some novels and soap operas. If we look at our parents, or many elderly, they seem to have an "understanding" love instead of "romantic" love. Those elderly would also tell me, "愛情不能當飯吃. 人要面對現實, 不要活在那 '幻想', '夢幻' 的世界"
Anyways, these are my thoughts. I'm in no means to offend you (kittymagic) in anyway, I'm just expressing my opinions. :) |

if iw ere to define true love, i woudl say "it is when two people will only think about the happiness of one another and never him/herself"
bu ur definition, i would imagine one side of the party will be suffering pretty bad. and htere should be no suffering in true love.
jsut my 2 cents |
