when you guys are with someone, that u believe u really love, maybe even think that u guys will spend the rest of ur lives together, would u think even in the back of ur mind that there might be someone better? might be someone better suited for u than this person u are with?

I heard a story before. It was about this guy who met this genie, and this genie agreed to let this guy go into this magical place full of magical stones. The genie told the guy that he can pick any magic stone from the ground and keep it, but he can only choose 1, and he cant go back. So then this guy goes into this magical place and saw this really shinny stone, he was ganna pick it up but then he thought abt it, and thinks to himself that there's so many more stones beyond where he is there must be something better, so he kept on walking. This happened 3 times, and at the end he kept an ordinary stone, because he thought there was always something better but there wasn't, he had came to the end of the stone pile. I dont know what that's suppose to say...I suppose it differs with different people. to me it just means that u should always 珍惜 the ppl u have, dont give them up just cuz u think there's something better...

well. when we fight, i might htink that.. "maybe we're not so great after all, maybe i can find someone whos even more compatible with me"
but thats only when im mad...
when i think it through i realyl think that he is THE ONE.
somehow i dun evne like talking to guys as much ever since i met him.
i dun find it even necessary to meet more ppl/guys..
my social circle is incredibly small compared to before
but im totally fine with it. i have my parents, i have a few best friends, i have him. they're enough to make me totally happy with my life.

well, i guess everyone has greed, everyone wonders if theres a better one out there. but, you wouldn't wanto ruin the one u currently have for ur greed n curiousity. cuz thats just sad
but usually, through some past experience of breaking up, mentally, we fear to break up with this one one day..

I think in everyone of us, there will be someone we like the most, even we are with someone else.

The reason why the "best" person is not our other half is because s/he acts as our goal, our fantasy. If you lose him/her, you will regret for life. That's why you will try to stay as friend to maintain that kind of feeling.

Just my 2 cents.. I have this person even I was with my gf.

A girl walked into a big shop, the sales on 1st floor tells her that she can pick up any guy for sale in the shop, but once she goes up the floor she can't turn around.

1st Floor: Guys who don't drink and smoke
(hmm..decent, but let's check upstairs)

2nd Floor: Guys who don't drink, smoke plus kind and gentle
(hmm...nicer than 1st floor, what's 3rd floor?)

3rd Floor: Guy who don't drink, smoke, and is kind and gentle, plus rich!
(wow, it keeps getting better! the girl decides to go on 4th floor)

i dun agree...i dun seem to see that theres a better person, or a more suitable person for me..other than him. to me he's all well rounded, hes got everything that i want. i cant ask for anything more

and about the fact that you have that feeling even when you were with your gf.. would it be because your gf simply wasnt the "best"...wasnt the "one"

i mean i felt that way too when i was with my exes.. it just simply meant they were wut i really wanted.
