anyone taking this course?? or if you already have taken this course, is it hard? do u have to speak in front of the class a lot or anything like tat ?
100 level classes usually are big lectures, u dont need to speak in front of the class..
maybe durning tut u'll have to~
i didnt take philo 100, i only took 001 and i hated it..
but i heard 100 is easier~
i took phil 110 , phil xx1 at burnaby, and phil 100 at surrey
you dont' need to talk infront of the class in any of them
and there isnt alot of writing for 110 and xx1
however 100 is a writing course and there are lots of essays to write
honestly i find 110 and xx1 more interesting than 100, i fall asleep everytime i go to 100 lecture =.=
PHIL-100 will make you think and doubt about our world if you actually understand the course. I did not take the course, but did sit in that lecture for the fun of it. The course isn't hard, except I always believe those philosophers smoke too much weed...
