Can we get our textbooks somewhere else other than UBC's bookstore?
UBC's bookstore is sort of in a monopolistic position... everyone is buying their textbook from UBC.
Do you think we could find cheaper prices at bookstores outside UBC?
Or is UBC charging us at a very low price already?

try the discount bookstore in the village.. or try chapters.ca, sometimes they have cheaper books...

Yeah..go to Discount textbooks...the people there are pretty nice...they can look up the books you want...

cheapest way: get it from someone who have taken the courses you are taking next term...^.^

they're charging us at a very HIGH price. =.=
yah.. discount bookstore would work. the building above mcdonald. or you can look at the posting on the wall.

it's 10% to 30% cheaper than UBC bookstore
I believe there's no refund, however.
