I'm from U of Calgary and I want to transfer to ubc arts. what is the required gpa for it? I know it says 2.0 minumum but what is the actual gpa need to transfer to arts?

it depends on which program.

to give u an idea, IR is around 78%, econ is around 68%, and psyc is around 65%.

I think for external transfer into the Faculty of Arts, you need at least 2.5.
Call them and ask.!

I applied with 3.0 before and got in. But I've heard of people who got in with a lower gpa.

the min gpa doesn't mean anything.

for example, for direct entry from high school, the min is 68%. i haven't heard of anyone who got in with a 68% average.

i'm transferring into commerce, so that is the only faculty i know.
2nd year: ~3.4-3.5
3rd year: it's currently 3.2
