I study university transfer courses from this semester in Kwantlen.If I plan to transfer to UBC in 2006 September, is that mean I must complete 54 credits with require courses before 2006 Summer semester?I saw the doucument deadlin is May 1st for September semester.I may not have my transcript for summer semester.

yes and no...
if u didn't complete 54 credits before the deadline, you will be evaluated based on year 2 entry. hence, if you are accepted, you are accepted as 2nd year.
however, after you completed your summer and met the year 3 requirement, they will promote you to third year. but keep in mind that this will take place in august, so many 3rd year courses will be full by then. although they have a policy that they will guarantee you seats for courses that are required, you won't get the schedule/prof/electives you want. so you may have classes from 8:30 - 7 everyday with 5 hour breaks.
furthermore, if you just miss 3rd year entry by a few courses or credits, you will not be able to register for many 3rd year courses since you are classified as a 2nd year, and 2nd years register after 3rd years. this will delay your graduation date for sure.
like i said, you should find out your exact goals. if you want to graduate in time, try to transfer to ubc with all the 2nd year courses/requirements done at college.
