i think this is either harder or easier to get in depending on each applicant.

from what i know from the admissions office, they still require 93%+ if you don't have any experience in leadership, volunteering, clubs, sports, work, etc. hence 82% is the cutoff for people who have TONS of experience.

well...for 1st yr entry, it was 86% at the beginning of this yr. Then yesterday my sister told me it has dropped to 82%. If you are in career prep. u got work exp. (well, kind of like a placement exp.), and club is even more easier. Library club could easily get you into the category. Volunteer club could count for volunteering.

it's actually pretty easy to get around w/ those requirements...from what I know, I had everything required...leadership, volunteering, clubs...etc. except sports. :spin:

I wanna transfer to UBC commerce but i don't know how to start doing those leadership/extra-curricular activities stuff. I know how to do sports and volunteers stuff but i want more than that just to make sure i can get in. Anyone can give me some suggestions please?

are you currently studying at ubc? if you are, i can suggest you some programs.

in that case, you can try to see if langara has some clubs or programs you can join. try to find something that involves in leadership. you can even try to join some sports team. i know those definitely help your application when you apply to BCom.
