i'm just taking 4 comm courses and a bunch of electives to fulfill my major and minor requirement.

i think i'm going for C498 although i'm more interested in C491. ppl said the profs in C491 mark hard, so i don't want to risk getting a bad grade and lose my honours. keith head, the prof of C498, has really good ratings on ratemyprof.com, so i'm gonna give him a try. which 49X course did u take, and how did u find it?

ohhh i was gonna take 491...but when i registered 2 dayz ago i reg'ed for 2nd term (thinkin that i was gonna go on co-op in sept)...but now i realized i should go to school in sept and depending upon whether i get a job in Jan....stay with co-op or quit co-op. anyway, i totally forgot about 491.....and now it's full. *sniff*

for 498, i had john reis, nice guy....not bad. donno about keith head.

i'm marketing/IB major...so i took 462 (promotional strategies), 468 (marketing apprlications), 469 (international marketing). btw, have u taken t-log?

yesterday there were still many spaces in many classes, but they're all filled up today.

i was going to take C492 too, but it seems like a lot of group work. i have to prepare for a lot of things during the fall term (ie GRE, grad school applications), so i can't afford to take a course that requires a lot of group work.

i'm minoring in math. i'm just taking these technical courses to prepare for grad school.

hopefully i made the right choice going for C498. some of my friends (they're like A students) told me it's hard to even pull a 80% on C491. hence i'm not going to take it. the course seems to have lots of memorizations. after, C392, i'm REALLY scared of memorization courses. does C498 have lots of memorization?

i think C399 is definitely a course you should take if you are relatively good with numbers. i pulled a pretty high grade with minimal effort. just remember to take it with mahesh. i heard the other prof is much tougher.

I've never taken 392, so it's hard to compare...plus i'm quite good at short term memorization (cramming works for me..hehe)....so it's hard to say. I didn't find 498 to be hard. there's a little bit of econ and is actually quite similar to International Marketing. There's is a group project that takes awhile to do tho...so if you don't like group projectz....

hehe, i just signed up for 399... prof is Krishnan, Harish....i dont' suppose that's who u meant? er...by 'good at numbers', you mean like regular math, not stinkin' calculus right? i hate calculus....:cry:

392 is labour relations....the course where we learn about unions, employement laws, etc. we had to do a bargaining simulation. remember now??
