I wanted to major in biochem when I first got into ubc. I am going into my second year right now. But I dunno if my GPA is good enough to be able to register for those "core courses". Can someone tell me what their first year GPAs were when they got in?...It may be time for me to pick another major.... :cry:

eheh i'm choosing course for second year,

well basically, in second year, u can get in with no problem. It didnt need a or b average...(although mine is a b+) but they will still let u in in 2nd year. The problem is with the third year. They look at ur academic record and decide if u can continue...

anyways, they let u reg in 2nd year biochem, but...it's up to ur performance..
