i'm not sure bout the % that u need to get in now...but it's higher than when it was still TechBC....(廢話..)
the workload is ok in tech one....lots of team works..it's fun though to work with ppl if they r nice....
if u r goin to IT...it's all bout math....and java....not as much fun as IA according to my friend who transferred from IT to IA....but it depends on ur interest....
The college transfer admit GPA changes each semester of entry and for that reason we try to avoid posting an actual number. In September 2003 we admitted applicants from college with an average of 2.50 or higher calcualted across 30 or more university transferable credits. We anticipate that for September 2004 this GPA will go up. Applicants with an average of 3.00 or higher can be confident that they will be admitted. If your average is in the 2.50 - 3.00 range I would still recommend that you consider applying.

I don't think it's hard to get in TechBC..
they are trying to expand the program..so they will probably take in more students than u would think..(gpa above 78% recommanded)
mmm i think people in SFU Surrey are very nice..but that doesn't mean it guarantees u a good team..coz some nice people just dont do any work..it'll drive u crazie!! in IA u'll be working in teams for most of ur courses..
it feels like high school around here..with small classes and stuff..and u'll see the same people in all ur courses..i think it's easier to make friends that way.. :)
