First, let me state the obvious. If you want to do well on the English Provincial Exam, you must be good at English. And if you want to be good at English, you must get used to using English, which includes reading, writing, and listening, frequently. Read as much as you can to learn sentence structures and pay attention to their grammatical structures. Learn to have interest in doing all this crap, and practice like there's no tomorrow. And don't forget to talk to your English teacher frequently to get tips here and there.

Not trying to brag, but I'm from Hong Kong and I pretty much failed English when I was in HK before I moved here. I ended up with 90% on the June 2004 Provincial (91% school grade) the first time taking English 12.

anyone has the 2005 January exam paper?

they no longer post out new exams after the 2004 papers.
only the principal have a copy of it and only teachers and ppl who are deciding if they want a rewrite/ reread can ask for permission to see it.
the new papers will only be posted once a year because they might reuse some questions.
